LAMPS AT THE TED HUGHES ARVON CENTRE, LUMB BANK. Lumb Bank is an inspirational centre for creative writing. It holds weekly retreats with highly regarded tutors, in its stunning Eighteenth century mill owner’s house set in twenty acres of steep pastureland near Hebden Bridge. The building and its setting are SO beautiful and it is an honour to have been asked to add lamps and shades to all the bedrooms and some of the communal areas. Each room has a sense of calm about it...hmm maybe my lamps will end up in a poem somewhere.....by the way, the cat in the picture is called Ted Hughes even though its a girl!!!

SUE LESLEY wins the Mistletoe lamp through Valley Life magazine. She was very happy because she said she never wins anything and really likes my lamps! Well done Sue!
