A Poppy Anemone for Palestine

Palestine once had a thriving cut flower industry and the land was covered in colourful flowers. War doesn't care for flowers or people and now it's all been destroyed.

This is known as a Palestinian Poppy where it grows wild in the fields. It isn't a poppy as we know it in the UK, its an Anemone Poppy, Anemone Coronaria. For the Palestinians it is a symbol of resistance of occupation and represents the resilience of the Palestinian people.
