Lily's Posy

This beautiful posy was designed by Lily Powell on her work experience placement from year ten (aged 15) at Calder High School. 

In her week working with us at the studio she's been trying on some of the many hats that you have to wear as a small creative business owner and when I suggested she designed a posy she jumped at the chance and spent a morning sketching, using her favourite flower, the bluebell, as a jumping off point.

Lily has designed the flower stems, learned how to digitise them and then cut them out on the laser cutter. We then did a photoshoot and then she packaged them all up beautifully, ready for some sales.

Wouldn't it be lovely for her if she sold some while she was here!
