Large Field Poppy Table Lamp

We don't have fields of barley and red poppies where I live so I enjoyed having a closer look when I visited a friend down south in August. I love the delicate poppy petals and their hairy stems and the teeny tiny poppy seed heads. The wild oats were so fine and delicate. I took lots of photos and did some drawings with a lamp in mind.

The design on this lamp has been precision laser cut and engraved to create the delicate stems of barley and poppy petals and there are wild oat grasses on the inside of the cylinder which only reveal themselves when the lamp is illuminated, giving a real layered appearance.
