Lemon Sherbet
Thursday, 15 April 21
I absolutely love the pussy willow catkins.

The little silvery buds are so soft and are beautiful enough

but then they explode into life like little fireworks!

From a distance the the dusting of yellow on the tops of the trees is like lemon sherbet.

There is a lamp design in progress. I'm going to enjoy using the laser cutter and the light to create those little explosions!

Here's my excited face! (photo credit Heather Dixon features)

Sherbet Lemon Dusting – well chosen to describe the appearance of these little friendly, furry buds covered in pollen. I only caught a glimpse of these yesterday, possibly because none grow near my usual routes. I shall hopefully find more now I know what to look for.
