Lemon Sherbet

Thursday, 15 April 21

I absolutely love the pussy willow catkins.

The little silvery buds are so soft and are beautiful enough

but then they explode into life like little fireworks!

From a distance the the dusting of yellow on the tops of the trees is like lemon sherbet.

There is a lamp design in progress. I'm going to enjoy using the laser cutter and the light to create those little explosions!

Here's my excited face! (photo credit Heather Dixon features)

  • Sherbet Lemon Dusting – well chosen to describe the appearance of these little friendly, furry buds covered in pollen. I only caught a glimpse of these yesterday, possibly because none grow near my usual routes. I shall hopefully find more now I know what to look for.
