Do you remember the sunny sunflowers that I made back in March in response to the war in Ukraine? It was a crazy busy and rather emotional time.
That laser machine must have cut millions of those tiny holes and we sent sunflowers all over the world raising over £11,000 for Choose Love's Ukraine appeal.
People hung them in their windows in solidarity and sent me photos. Each one represented everyone's desire for peace. Everyone wanted to do something and many people doing this one small thing added up to a lot. I felt that the sunflowers not only raised loads of money but they connected people and gave us all a little lift at a dark time.
Now, some kind soul, I don't know who, nominated me for a Business For Good award in Holly & Co's Independent Business awards which launched at midday on Thursday 10th November. I could win £5,000 - £10,000 which would be very nice given the year I've had BUT the Ukranians have had a far worse year than me so if I was to win I would donate half. I'd like to help someone in Ukraine who lost their business too.
Please will you vote for me? Just click here and fill in your details. You have to verify your vote by clicking in the email that you will be sent too.
There are so many incredible business in this category but I'm sure if I had a vote for every sunflower hanging in all the windows it would be a WIN!
Thank you x
